Victor Estate announced a round-the-clock security and response service, a training academy and a property management app during its 60th anniversary celebration held at the prestigious cultural space, the Malta International Contemporary Art Space (MICAS).
The Prime Minister Robert Abela addressed the gathering, which brought together Government Ministers, the Leader of the Opposition, leading figures from the building and construction industry and other distinguished guests.

The Prime Minister said that “Victor Estate’s sixty years are a testament to the ability and determination of a Maltese family business that has continued to reinvent itself across generations.” He congratulated the Bajada family and all the employees who had contributed to this journey.
“As a Government, we want development in our country to translate into a better quality of life. Investment in people, technology and professional services plays an important role in raising standards and giving residents greater peace of mind. Operators such as Victor Estate have a valuable contribution to make as we continue moving in this direction,” said Prime Minister Robert Abela.

Investment in offices, technology and service development
Victor Estate’s CEO Jean Bajada said that the company had invested nearly €600,000 in new, modern offices spanning almost 500 square metres, advanced technology and new software systems. The company plans to invest another €500,000 in 2027 to advance and complete the next three projects in its development plan.
Mr Bajada presented the three initiatives as part of the company’s expansion beyond condominium management into a broader range of property services.
Victor Estate Security and Response will combine a 24-hour call centre with a response and security team, focusing particularly on the short-let sector.
“Our aim is clear: to help raise the quality of tourism services in this growing sector,” Mr Bajada said.
The Victor Estate Academy will develop staff skills and improve service consistency, while also welcoming workers from across the property sector who wish to undertake training.
“If we want to raise the standard of our service, we must first invest in the people who provide that service,” he said.
The Victor Estate Application is designed to improve communication between property owners, residents, clients and the company’s team, making information more accessible and property management more efficient and transparent.
Mr Bajada said the company was also investing in technology, systems and staff to develop its capacity to manage larger sites and high-rise buildings.
“The future of our sector cannot be based solely on how much we build. It must also be based on how we build, how we manage, how we maintain and how we protect the long-term value of our properties,” he said.
Founded in 1966 by Carmelo Bajada, Victor Estate was named after his son Victor, who died aged 21. The anniversary marked six decades of a family business whose activities have spanned property development, tourism accommodation and property management. Jean Bajada, the founder’s grandson, took over its leadership in 2020.
