Trust Payments is on Monday celebrating its recognition as one of the “Best Companies to Work For” in several categories in the UK.
The payment group, which has an office in Malta, received several employee-recognition awards, including one of the top 30 Financial Services firms to work for in the UK, as well as regional awards in London and Wales. It also received a One Star rating signifying “very good” levels of workplace engagement, it announced.
Trust Payment CEO Daniel Holden commented: “Talented people, properly engaged are at the heart of our culture. I’m extremely proud of our successes in 2020, but most important our people”.
“They have created a culture of passion and energy; a desire to put customers first and an innovation hub which has challenged traditional workspaces. This has been even more impressive given the exceptional challenges all companies have faced in 2020. The future of UK fintech is bright at Trust Payments”, he added.
The Group was awarded three accolades in the 2021 Best Companies to Work For list, namely: one of Financial Services’ 30 Best Companies to Work For, one of London’s Top 75 large companies to work for, and one of Wales’ Top 30 Companies to work for.
Ian Hughes, CTO at the company, based in its Wales technology hub, said: “The technology developed out of Wales underpins our business. As a company, we push the boundaries of technology in the development of our platforms and fuel a culture of innovation across the payments and loyalty industries”.
“Our work culture and environment allows us to develop new products at an accelerated rate to the market, as well as draw in global talent remotely. We are extremely proud of our team’s commitment and passion, which is evident in our fantastic retention.
“Several of our Wales team have been with the company for a considerable number of years and continue to strive for excellence in what they deliver. We are delighted that, with our team’s open and honest feedback and input, we are now considered one of the top companies to work for in Wales.”
Trust Payments has 260 employees globally, including at its Malta offices and over 40 in Wales. Trust Payments is expanding rapidly, doubling its headcount in the last year, opening new offices and seeing a growth of year-on-year revenue of more than 60 per cent.
