The popular restaurant previously based in Marsaxlokk, Terrone, has just found a new temporary home in Birgu.

Taking to social media, the restaurant's management wrote:

'From Friday 20th November we are thrilled to welcome you to the Terrone Pop Up at the Maritime Museum! Our temporarily home for a short while only.'

Terrone was one of just three local eateries to receive the coveted Michelin Bib Gourmand last February.

Chef Patron Adrian Hili said in July that they would need to move from their prime seafront location because the owner of the property did not want to extend the lease on the property. The lease expired at the end of October.

Patrons did not have to wonder about their next scrumptious meal for too long however, with the restaurant announcing on Instagram that they are preparing for a reopening in the historic city of Birgu.

With 2020 being a hellish year for eat-in restaurants, we can only hope that the change in location will bring fresh successes to Mr Hili and his team.
