As European airports begin to reopen their doors, the events industry is hopeful that the business, entertainment and tourism sectors will have begun to find their footing later this year, prompting SiGMA Group to offer free standard tickets (valued at €49) for delegates who book a pass to the November show before 15th July.

Held in Malta this year, the Europe show will run from 17th – 19th November, uniting affiliates, operators, and suppliers under the island’s robust regulatory framework.

The supershow will merge two large expos – SiGMA and AIBC, and will follow a trio of digital summits held throughout the summer, which aim to help the industry stand together and stay informed at a time when working together has never been more important.

Malta’s airport will reopen on 15th July, allowing for flights to a number of destinations after the COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to all commercial travel earlier this year. The lift on Malta’s travel ban follows on from a pattern of such across Europe, as the European Union lifts a number of internal borders.

Germany, Austria, Sicily, Cyprus, Switzerland, Sardegna, Iceland, Slovakia, Norway, Denmark, Hungary, Finland, Ireland, Lithuania, Israel, Latvia, Estonia, Luxembourg, and the Czech Republic were amongst the first group of countries to benefit from the resumption of commercial flights to and from Malta, with more countries are expected to follow suit.
