Ryan Gauci has been recognised as one of the Top 100 hotel General Managers (GM) of the World for 2024.
The Maltese expat, who serves as General Manager at Hiton Prague, remarked that this achievement reflects his passion for hospitality “and more importantly; the unwavering teamwork, dedication and shared vision of the extraordinary individuals” he works alongside.
Furthermore, he dedicated the award to his team at Hilton Prague and Hilton Prague Old Town for their hard work and commitment “to make all successes possible.”
Mr Gauci, who studied hotel operations at the Institute of Tourism Studies, has been working at Hilton since 2007.
Since then, he held different roles in across Hilton properties in Europe, including Hilton Isle of Man, Malta, Bradford, York, Liverpool, Warsaw, Rijeka, and Prague.
The accolade, awarded by Luxury Lifestyle Awards, celebrates visionaries “whose leadership and dedication continue to shape the luxury hospitality industry across the globe.”
Luxury Lifestyle Awards is a global award program that selects, recognises, celebrates and promotes the best luxury goods and services worldwide, with a history spanning 16 years.
General Managers in this list are described as leaders who have consistently exemplified distinction, novelty, and loyalty to guest satisfaction.
Candidates were selected based on stringent criteria including; outstanding leadership, consistent guest satisfaction, strategic innovation, sustainability initiatives, and overall contributions to the industry.
