Renowned tenor Cliff Zammit Stevens has been appointed Artistic Director of the Malta National Choir KorMalta.

A graduate of London's prestigious Royal College of Music, Mr Zammit Stevens has performed in several operas, concerts and musical productions.

“Cliff joins KorMalta with a clear artistic vision and a strong commitment to the development of choral music in Malta,” the national choir said.

“His appointment comes at an important time for the choir, as we continue to strengthen its artistic identity, support the development of our singers and musicians, and bring ambitious choral work to audiences in Malta and beyond.”

KorMalta said it is particularly pleased to welcome Mr Zammit Stevens into the wider NAPA – National Agency for the Performing Arts community.

“There is a dedicated team behind KorMalta, and we look forward to seeing Cliff work alongside our singers, musicians and colleagues across the agency,” it said.

“We welcome and wish Cliff every success in his new role and look forward to the work ahead.”
