Roberta Avellino Pulè has been promoted to Manager of the Governance and Public Sector’s Consulting practice at Shoulder Compliance.

Shoulder Compliance assists businesses in building robust compliance programmes that can detect, prevent and mitigate financial crime risks. The new practice area was launched a few days ago to providecomprehensive support to organisations navigating the international risk landscape, now including the complexities of decision-making structures and the interplay between private and public sectors.

Dr Avellino Pulè was the first person to join the company five years ago as a Senior Anti-Financial Crime and Compliance Consultant.

Writing on LinkedIn, she stated that she is particularly eager to leverage her experience from both the public and private sectors to assist organisations in effectively navigating their governance requirements.

A warranted lawyer, Dr Avellino Pulè has gained various experiences throughout her career. This includes being a Ministry Coordinator within the Ministry of Education and Employment, a Visiting Assistant Lecturer at University of Malta, a Political/Economic Specialist at the US Department of State Embassy, a legal consultant at WEAV consulting and a Group CO at ECOVIS Malta.

Commenting on the promotion, Charles Cassar, Founder of Shoulder Compliance, shared his happiness over the news.
