HSBC Bank plc on Wednesday announced that regulatory approval has been granted for Henri Mizzi as Non-Executive Director at the bank.

Dr Mizzi has also been appointed to the bank’s s Audit Committee and the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.

A seasoned lawyer, Dr Mizzi is well-known among legal circles after spending 25 years as a Partner at leading local commercial law firm Camilleri Preziosi. In total, he served at the firm for a total of 32 years.

At Camilleri Preziosi, the Senior Partner was tasked with advisory and transactional responsibilities, as well as overseeing the firm’s dispute resolution practice and some of its most important cases.

Dr Mizzi’s work spanned several economic sectors, such as banking and financial services, construction, communications, shipping, insurance, and energy.

In 2021, Dr Mizzi set up a practice as an Independent Arbitrator and Mediator and joined ArDB Chambers
