KM Malta Airlines (KMMA), Malta’s national carrier, has renewed its Total Cargo Management (TCM) contract with Network Airline Services (NAS) following a competitive tender process.

The agreement will see NAS continue managing KMMA’s cargo operations.

Operating a fleet of eight A320neo aircraft, KMMA serves 18 direct destinations. This network enables Maltese shippers and consignees to connect with international markets.

David Curmi, Executive Chairman at KM Malta Airlines, said the renewal reflects the airline’s dedication to customer service excellence and consistent cargo growth. He noted that the strong understanding both companies have of the Maltese air freight market has been pivotal in positioning KMMA as a preferred choice for cargo to and from Malta.

John Gilfeather, NAS Vice President for the UK, Ireland, and Malta, commended KMMA’s operational standards and the contribution of its ground handling partners and crews. He also highlighted the role of NAS’s global teams in identifying cargo opportunities worldwide, helping the airline expand market share and revenue.

The Network Aviation Group, the parent company of NAS, was founded in London in 1985 and now operates across five continents. The group manages a fleet of freighter aircraft on scheduled and charter routes, handling over 80,000 tonnes of cargo annually and generating turnover exceeding £300 million.
