I am an accountant by profession and hold the role of Partner at Grant Thornton, specialising in capital markets. I assist clients on a daily basis to raise market from the capital markets and over the years I have raised capital from the Main Market, the Institutional Securities Market and Prospects MTF Market for our clients. The clients also span various industries such as property development, pharmaceutical, shipping, utilities and retail amongst others. Apart from traditional bonds, in 2023, I was part of the team which raised the first Green Bond in Malta. Apart from listing the bonds, I also offer continued support, offering guidance post-admission to all our clients.

Beyond leading the Capital Markets team, I also lead other engagements within corporate finance, and these include due diligence assignments (local or cross-border, buy-side or vendor due diligence assignments), valuations, impairment analysis of goodwill or property (tangible or intellectual), business plans, feasibility studies, restructuring strategies and IFRS technical advice.

I am deeply engaged in the accounting profession, serving as a member of the ESEF Working Group and Sustainable Finance Group within the Malta Institute of Accountants. Prior to joining GT, I gained valuable experience at two Big 4 firms.
