My focus has been to look at new ways of working, particularly considering the uncertainty of the future and the ever-changing landscape. It is a case of trusting the people I work with and helping them solve their problems so they can do the job to the best of their abilities.

I am a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and have worked in the industry since 1987. I currently serve as Managing Director and Chief Executive of Atlas Insurance PCC Ltd and Managing Director of Atlas Holdings Ltd, Chairman of Atlas Healthcare Insurance Agency Ltd and a Director of Jesmond Mizzi Financial Advisors Ltd. I am a former President of the Malta Insurance Association and of the Rotary Club La Valette Malta, and am currently a Board Member of JA Malta and an Executive Board Member of Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti.

Atlas Insurance PCC Ltd, the flagship company of the Atlas Group, operates an extensive branch and intermediary network throughout Malta and Gozo. In 2006, the Group extended operations into the international arena by providing protected cell facilities to businesses wishing to write insurance within the EU through its Atlas Insurance PCC cell operations. The Group’s gross insurance premium stands at just over €78 million worth of local and international business, a substantial increase over the days of the late 1990s when four family run insurance agencies made the decision to merge to form Atlas Insurance Agency.
