Business Profile
I began my career in banking in 1997 before transitioning to accountancy in 2004, starting within the advertising industry. In 2009, I joined an audit firm as an auditor, where I gained exposure to a wide range of clients across different industries. During this period, I also worked within the firm’s tax department and corporate services division.
In 2015, I returned to industry, taking on various managerial positions within the FMCG sector. This was followed in 2017 by my appointment as Group Financial Controller in the tourism and catering industry.
Since 2021, I have been serving as Chief Group CFO at KA Group, which includes KA Finance plc — a company listed on the Malta Stock Exchange with a €6M bond issue. In this role, I further developed my financial expertise. Moreover, my involvement in the strategic aspect of the business continued to enhance my business acumen and understanding of risks involved in the day-to-day and investment appraisals carried out.
During my time here, the company has continued to develop its internal structures, group structure and it has furthered its investments related to the property sector. The group is also expanding in its retail and contracting arms, building a solid reputation as it goes.
I describe myself as a result-driven individual, always looking at maximising the performance of the company and returns towards the shareholders.
