Business Profile

During my career as a researcher, I have worked on various company and sectoral analyses as well as on industrial and market strategies with a special focus on foreign direct investment (FDI) and economic development.

I worked for several years at Malta Enterprise (ME), Malta’s economic development agency. Prior to that, I worked at the Malta Development Corporation, ME’s predecessor organisation. I also represented Malta Enterprise on the National Skills Council between 2017 and 2020.

I joined the Office of the Special Commissioner for Economic, Financial and Trade relations with the UK, in 2021 and 2022 monitoring the impact of economic trends in the UK and focusing on the impact of UK imported inflation on the Maltese economy. I also conducted background research to identify mutually beneficial opportunities. I joined Trade Malta in January 2023 and am focusing on granular research starting from sectoral research and delving into company-level analysis with the objective of identifying locally-based, productive entities with potential to export.
