The opening of major development The Shoreline Mall in Smart City, Kalkara is imminent.
The mall is set to contain a number of retail outlets and catering establishments, including Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, Berskha, Franks, Aldo, Kiko Milano, Calliope, Junior’s, Homemate, and Starbucks, among others. Many of these outlets will be flagship stores. It will also feature Gravity, an entertainment spot that includes a trampoline park, arcade games, rock-climbing activities, and a free-fall activity.
Last year, WhosWho.mt had reported that the mall’s opening date was set for February of this year. The company was not in a position to share the official opening date, however senior people close to the project have said the mall's formal grand opening is set for 8th March 2024.
A number of the mall's tenants have ramped up advertising on social media over the past weeks as preparations are in full swing.
Located in Smart City, the development will be made up of a retail mall housing around 44 different outlets across two double-height levels, as well as 331 apartments, six villas and seven blocks. The mall will also contain restaurants, a major entertainment area and various kiosks, together with three levels of underground parking.
