Roberto Apap Bologna will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer at GlobalCapital plc tomorrow after the incumbent, Ezekiel Saliba, stepped down, the financial services company said.

In a company announcement released by the Malta Stock Exchange, GlobalCapital said Mr Saliba will be relinquishing his post of CFO of the company and its operating subsidiaries today.

The Board thanked Mr Saliba for his service and wishes him well for his future endeavours.

Apart from CFO of Global Capital, his successor will also assume the role of CFO of its regulated subsidiaries, that is, GlobalCapital Life Insurance Ltd, GlobalCapital Health Insurance Agency Ltd and GlobalCapital Financial Management Ltd.

Mr Apap Bologna, GlobalCapital said, has vast industry-specific financial experience, having previously occupied senior roles within the Finance Department of another local public entity providing long-term and general business insurance as well as the Finance Department of the Malta subsidiary of a leading international bank and financial services company.
