In his new role, Mr Bidzan will be responsible for taking Eden Esports to the next level and building on the foundations set by Eden Leisure Group, the company said.
Mr Bidzan has vast experience in the field of esports, having occupied senior positions with Ukrainian tournament organiser and broadcasting studio, Starladder and Chinese event organiser ImbaTV. He has organised over 40 esports events including offline and worked with game developers and publishers, and was behind the CS:GO league StarSeries.
“I am very happy to be joining Eden Leisure Group, the biggest entertainment group in Malta, as the CEO of Eden Esports. My goal here is mainly to grow and enhance the local esports market and promote Malta internationally in the esports industry.
“Our company has already become a flagship for esports in the country, attracting people and companies globally to Malta. With a focus on developing new products, I aim to sustain the growth of the local market and increase the share of attention to the island on the global scene,” Mr Bidzan said on his appointment.
