CareMalta CEO, Natalie Briffa Farrugia, has been appointed Chairperson of the newly set up ‘Care Home Operators Section’ within the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry.

The Malta Chamber of Commerce has set up a number of business sections to discuss with stakeholders and experts about strategy and priorities for a number of industries and sectors.

As CEO of CareMalta Group, with a €37 million annual turnover and over 1,250 employees, Ms Briffa Farrugia is at the helm of the largest operator of care-for-the-elderly services onn the island.

Overall, upwards of 1,600 elderly people reside in the nine CareMalta homes and 200 families are receiving respite services for children and older adults with disabilities through HILA Ltd. A further 60 clients reside in the Group’s specialised care homes in the community.
