On Friday (today), Lift Services Malta announced that its Founder, Michael Farrugia has passed away.
Michael is also the grandfather of the company’s CEO, Matthew Farrugia.
Announcing the news on the company’s Facebook page, the team noted that he was not just a visionary leader, but a gentle and loving presence at the company who always prioritised the health and well-being of everyone at Lift Services.
“His legacy of kindness, support, and dedication will forever remain a cornerstone of our values. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. He will be dearly missed,” the company said.
Lift Services has been in business for over 45 years. It offers different types of vertical transportation systems such as stairlifts, elevators, platform lifts, and construction lifts.
