Alison Satariano, Founder of Interior Outfitters, has passed away, leaving friends, family and colleagues saddened by the news.
In a social media post, Interior Outfitters paid tribute to Ms Satariano, saying that “there was something uniquely hers in everything she touched. She helped build more than a company; she helped shape its soul.”
“We will carry her life’s work forward,” the company added.
Friends and family have also paid tribute to Ms Satariano, remembering her as a talented professional and a gentle soul. News of her passing has come as a shock to many who knew her.
Over 30 years ago, Ms Satariano began the business from her basement, producing soft furnishings and curtains while working closely with fabric retailers across Malta. Her focus was simple: quality, reliability, and doing things properly; qualities which were expressed in other tributes.
A veteran of the fabric and interiors industry, Ms Satariano had more than 35 years of experience in decorating homes. She founded Interior Outfitters in 2010 and served as the company's Creative Director.
She also served as Company Director of insideOut from 1988 to 2018.
