Stephanie Vella has built most of her career in Malta’s furniture and interiors sector, gaining experience across sales, showroom management, business development and project coordination.

Her career began in sales, joining Tikams in Iklin in 2005 as a Sales Executive. This early experience gave her a strong grounding in customer service and an appreciation of the importance of understanding clients’ needs.

In 2009, Ms Vella joined Joinwell Ltd, where she spent more than 15 years progressing through roles including Showroom Manager and Business Development Manager.

Throughout her career, she has worked across different aspects of the furniture and interiors business, combining creativity with a practical and client-focused approach. Her experience includes 3D design, showroom planning, presentations, tender preparation and coordinating projects from concept through to completion.

Ms Vella has also had the opportunity to attend international industry fairs, including Heimtextil and exhibitions in Cologne and Milan. These experiences have broadened her understanding of furniture and interior products, emerging design trends and developments within the wider industry.

Her early background in sales continues to influence her approach to her work. She places importance on clear communication, teamwork and finding practical solutions, while keeping the client’s requirements and the quality of the final result at the centre of each project.

With experience spanning two decades, Ms Vella’s career reflects the different skills involved in bringing furniture and interior projects together, from the initial client brief and design process through to project completion.
