Iconic Gozitan pizzeria Mekren’s Bakery has arrived in Malta, after it opened the doors of its new Qormi bakery on Monday.
The response to the launch left its management “overwhelmed”, with widespread support being shown towards the bakery.
“We are sorry for any inconveniences with regards to delivery time and orders due to the high demand,” Mekren’s Bakery said, with it immediately being available on both Wolt and Bolt.
It added that it is looking forward to serving customers “Gozo’s finest”, through its more than 100 years’ experience in baking.
The Nadur-based bakery has become a must-visit for a number of Maltese when holidaying in Gozo, with the family-run business offering a range of ftiras, pizzas, qassatat, bread, and other treats.
