Manouche Craft Bakery and Bistro on Friday (today) announced that it has reopened its Mosta outlet after three weeks of refurbishment.

The announcement of the closing had come earlier this month, with Manouche Co-Founder and Director Bjorn Bartolo informing WhosWho.mt that the downstairs area of the outlet would be refurbished to act as a co-working hub for professionals who are looking to work remotely.

“Come say hello to our brand new team and grab a free coffee on us,” the post announcing the reopening stated.

The Mosta outlet, located on the corner of Triq il-Kbira and Triq il-Pont, close to the Rotunda of Mosta, opened its doors to the public last year. Aside from the bistro’s popular desserts and coffee, the outlet also boasts a personalised brunch menu.

Speaking to WhosWho.mt following the reopening, Mr Bartolo remarked that “practically 80 per cent” of the refurbishment is complete, with the new co-working hub featuring amenities such as plugs for customers to plug their devices in.

The outlet is now open daily from 8am until 6pm.

Since Manouche opened the doors of its first restaurant in Spinola, St Julian’s, back in 2018, the brand, widely known for its French pastries, has grown significantly. It now also has outlets in Valletta, Bay Street (St Julian’s), Mosta, and Gozo, as well as a new one in Rabat.

When asked whether there are any refurbishments or planned openings in the near future, Mr Bartolo said that works are ongoing for a new factory in Qormi, set to have an outlet adjacent to it.
