Maltese feature film Ciao Ciao, directed by Keith Tedesco, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video across the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States and Australia, marking a significant international milestone for Malta’s growing film industry.

The Malta-produced dark comedy-drama is now available to audiences across multiple continents through one of the world’s largest streaming platforms, further expanding the global reach of Maltese filmmaking and creative talent.

Produced by Lampa Stampa and Roughcut Films, Ciao Ciao follows two reacquainted couples whose seemingly ordinary dinner reunion gradually descends into tension, chaos and uncomfortable revelations over the course of one unforgettable evening.

The production brings together a strong Maltese creative team both in front of and behind the camera, reflecting the growing ambition and international quality emerging from Malta’s independent film sector.

The cast includes Mikhail Basmadjian, Antonella Axisa, Chris Dingli, Simone Spiteri, Katrina Lupi, Ryan Mark De Battista, Kevin Naudi and Ruth Borg.

Speaking about the international release, director Keith Tedesco said: “Having Ciao Ciao released on Amazon Prime Video internationally is a proud achievement for everyone involved in the production. It’s exciting to see Maltese storytelling reaching audiences across multiple continents.”

Ciao Ciao is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime Video in the United Kingdom, Ireland, United States and Australia. The film was supported by Arts Council Malta.
