Intercomp Business was entrusted by Malta Public Transport to design, install, and maintain a series of custom kiosks for their organisation. These kiosks dispense travel cards around the clock from 14 kiosks spread across Malta and Gozo, allowing Malta Public Transport to offer a convenient and efficient service to their customers, seven days a week, 24 hours a day, all year round.  

The kiosks were designed to meet a variety of specific needs and requirements, including responsive touch screens, custom software integration, the ability to accept both cash and card payments, and outdoor weather resistance to withstand intense sunshine and rain.

All kiosks were wrapped with Malta Public Transport’s brand colours which helps to create a cohesive and consistent visual identity. In addition to this, the kiosks also feature an anti-vandal coating to help protect against damage and ensure that they remain in good condition for as long as possible.

Another important aspect of these kiosks is their high brightness display, which ensures that they are easy to read and use even in bright sunlight. This is especially important in Malta, where the sun can be quite strong and cause issues with visibility for many types of electronic displays.

After the successful installation of these kiosks, the Intercomp Business team has now been engaged to offer a comprehensive maintenance agreement to protect and maximize the life of this investment. This maintenance agreement will ensure that the kiosks continue to operate at their best, providing a reliable service for the customers of Malta Public Transport.
