As arguably the most closely followed election campaign in the world ramps up, with voters expected to cast their ballot on 3rd November, what’s at stake in the upcoming US elections?

The polls place Democrat candidate Joe Biden in the lead, however the 2016 experience has made commentators weary of predicting a Donald Trump loss, after polls had placed losing candidate Hilary Clinton ahead.

Tomorrow’s episode of The Boardroom, airing live on WhosWho.mt’s Facebook page at 11am, will see experts in the field of public policy, international relations and tourism weigh in.

Presented by business-writer Jo Caruana, tomorrow’s episode will see George Vital Zammit – Resident Academic, Department of Public Policy at the University of Malta, Valentina Cassar – Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Malta and Michael Camilleri Kamsky – General Manager at Westin Dragonara Resort discuss the impact of the US elections on the rest of the world.

With such diverging opinions by the US candidates on major international policy areas, such as immigration, climate change and trade, the direction taken by a US administration has far reaching consequences on policy direction among Governments around the world.
