Klikk Finance plc has reported its financial results for the year ended 31st December 2024, showing an increase in revenue but a decline in profitability due to rising costs and strategic restructuring efforts.
The company’s board of directors has decided not to propose the payment of a dividend for the year. The group's accumulated losses stood at €820,268, improving from €957,462 in 2023. Meanwhile, the company itself reported retained earnings of €189,380, up from €137,562 the previous year.
During 2024, Klikk Finance plc recorded a four per cent increase in revenue, rising from €7.9 million in 2023 to €8.2 million. However, the benefits of this growth were offset by an increase in the cost of sales, leading to a decline in the gross profit margin from 16.4 per cent in 2023 to 14.2 per cent in 2024.
Klikk Finance also invested in targeted recruitment, retention strategies, and employee development initiatives. These measures contributed to a 6.3 per cent rise in administrative expenses.
One of the most notable strategic decisions of the year was the disposal of CDK Limited (formerly Klikk Code Limited). Management and the board assessed the subsidiary’s performance in a highly competitive market and opted to sell the entity. The disposal, which took place on 24th October 2024, resulted in a modest gain of €251.
Klikk Finance plc reported a pre-tax loss of €56,000 for 2024, a reversal from the €7,000 profit recorded in 2023. However, the company’s future outlook is set to shift significantly following its acquisition by GO plc at the end of the financial year.
The directors are optimistic that the synergies created through this acquisition will drive improvements in the group’s overall performance. Additionally, the planned reduction of liabilities through bond buy-backs is expected to lower finance costs, further supporting financial stability and growth in the coming years.
