JSD Group, through JD Capital plc and its subsidiaries, has completed "a significant reorganisation and acquisition initiative, reinforcing its position as a key player in the real estate and hospitality sectors."

JD Real Estate Developments Ltd, a subsidiary of JSD Group – owned by Josef Dimech - has acquired two companies, Skorba Developments Ltd and J&J Hotel Operations Ltd.

Both companies were purchased by owner Mr Dimech. Skorba Developments Ltd, is the owner of Skorba Mansions a residential and commercial asset in Żebbiegħ, Mġarr. On the other hand, J&J Hotel Operations Ltd is currently developing a Class 3B Hotel in Msida, which is set to elevate the group’s presence in the hospitality sector.

This strategic move also underscores the group’s focus on growth and value creation under the leadership of Mr Dimech and his executive team led by CEO Franco Azzopardi.

The group remarked that this merger and acquisition strategy bolstered JSD Group’s net asset base, “providing a solid foundation for future growth. It also enhances the group’s revenue potential, positioning it to capitalise on market opportunities and deliver sustained value to its stakeholders.”
