Ruth Azzopardi has been appointed as Cluster Director of Revenue at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), she announced on Monday.

Her appointment comes after Ms Azzopardi left her position as Leisure Sales Manager at Hilton Malta in March, bringing to an end 11 years working at the company.

Writing on LinkedIn, she thanked IHG Cluster Hotel Manager Neal Debono for “entrusting” her “with this opportunity”.

Her appointment makes her the latest in a wave of hires by the InterContinental Group in Malta, with Wendy McKay and Amit Rawat joining as Cluster Director of Corporate Sales and Cluster Digital Marketing Manager respectively.
