Airing tomorrow live at 3.45pm, Episode 15 of The Boardroom invites Malta Enterprise Chief Executive Officer, Kurt Farrugia, to discuss his experience of being at the helm of an agency tasked with promoting economic development at a time when the national economy was ravaged by COVID-19.

Malta Enterprise was at the centre of a vast array of business-aid measures aimed at assisting enterprises remain afloat despite a partial or complete disruption to their business.

Throughout the pandemic, the agency has disbursed information on Government schemes, responded to thousands of queries via telephone and email, while also receiving, reviewing and responding to applications through the dedicated COVID-19 Malta Enterprise website.

Mr Farrugia was appointed to the role of CEO on 1st August 2019 and benefitted from a short period of relative calm before Malta’s business landscape experienced a series of challenges.
