Hili Properties, the real estate arm of Hili Ventures Limited, has announced it has appointed Geoffrey Camilleri to the role of Acting Chairman and George T. Kakouras as Managing Director for the subsidiary. 

The appointments will take effect from the 13th July and the 17th August, respectively, and follow on the resignation of Richard Castillo from the position of Chairman and Interim Managing Director of the firm.

Mr Camilleri is also the Chief Financial Officer of parent company, Hili Ventures Limited. He has previously held the position of Group Financial Controller for Gasan Group and was an Internal Auditor for Middlesea Group. He is a University of Malta graduate, where he read for a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy.

Mr Kakouras was previously the Managing Director for Apco Systems Ltd, a subsidiary of Harvest Technology, which falls under the umbrella of Hili Ventures Ltd. He was also, previously, the Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors for Maltco Lotteries. 

He holds a BSc and an MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an MBA in Engineering Economics Systems from the National Technical University of Athens.
