Healthmark has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Malta Medical Students’ Association (MMSA).
Through this collaboration, Healthmark will serve as one of MMSA’s key sponsors for the 2025–2026 term, supporting the organisation’s educational initiatives, awareness campaigns, and community projects aimed at fostering the growth of future healthcare leaders.
Founded in 1951, MMSA is a non-governmental, non-political organisation that represents medical students in Malta. Its work includes academic events, clinical workshops, international exchanges, and public health campaigns addressing issues such as mental health, sexual education, and preventive medicine.
Charlotte Sant Portanier, Chief Executive Officer at Healthmark, said: “Healthmark is built on the belief that great healthcare starts with great people. By supporting MMSA, we are investing in the next generation of doctors who will shape Malta’s health landscape for years to come. We admire MMSA’s commitment to community health and its drive to combine learning with service.”
MMSA President Keith Calleja also welcomed the agreement, saying: “MMSA is proud to collaborate with a leading healthcare organisation like Healthmark. This partnership allows us to continue creating opportunities for medical students to learn, engage with the community, and contribute to a healthier Malta.”
