Francis Lanzon, former Club Secretary at Neptunes WPSC, has passed away at the age of 77.
In the announcement from the water polo club on Sunday, Mr Lanzon, known as “Il-Lanz,” was described as a “dedicated club man” who always gave his unwavering support to the club.
He had served as Club Secretary from 2008 to 2014, and was also a Committee Member.
The team at Neptunes WPSC expressed its condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.
Mr Lanzon’s funeral will be held at 9am on Tuesday 30th July at Ibrag Parish Church.
Many took to social media to express their sadness at the news, describing Mr Lanzon as an “incredible man” and someone who would always make them laugh and put a smile on their face.
They remarked that he was a great man whose name is synonymous with local water polo and Neptunes WPSC.
