After more than two decades at the Mayfair Business Centre in St Julian’s, EF Language School has relocated to a new premises as the redevelopment of the former site into a 4-star hotel moves closer to receiving Planning Authority approval.

The language school is now operating from the Golden Mile Business Centre in Triq id-Dragunara, a seven-storey office building owned by Exalco, the same company that owns the Mayfair Business Centre. The building is also home to Gaming Innovation Group, which now shares the premises with the language school.

The Golden Mile Business Centre was formerly known as the GiG Building due to an agreement wherein the gaming company leased the entire building and then sub-leased individual floors to other firms. That contract has since lapsed, with Exalco taking control of the building while GiG retains two floors.

EF Language School began welcoming students to its new campus in June this year. The relocation brings together the school's academic facilities, student residence and exclusive EF Beach Club within close proximity, creating an integrated learning environment just a short walk from the sea.

The Executive Director of EF Malta Carsten Knobloch said, “Malta has evolved into one of EF’s most important year-round destinations, not just because of its climate, but because students can combine affordability with academic progress and quality of life.”

The new campus occupies four floors and features modern classrooms, a large auditorium, dedicated dining and study areas, as well as outdoor terraces overlooking the coastline, offering students a contemporary setting that combines education with Malta’s coastal setting.
