Multigas’s operations date back to 1926 when it started producing carbon dioxide. Today, its facilities in Malta include two air separation plants producing oxygen and nitrogen, gas storage tanks, a cylinder filling depot, a cylinder test workshop, and an outlet for gas-related equipment.

In the healthcare sector, Multigas produces, imports and dispenses medicinal gases through its licensed dispensary. It produces medicinal oxygen, GMP nitrogen and medicinal air.

Food-grade carbon dioxide and nitrogen are supplied to the beverage manufacturing sector and food industry operators.

Multigas is the leading supplier in Malta for industrial gases in the metal fabrication, pharmaceutical, automotive and electronic industry. It also supplies gas mixtures according to customer requirements and a wide range of refrigerant gases.

It is certified to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, FSSC22000. It holds a Marketing Authorisation for the production of medicinal oxygen and is licenced for the manufacturing and distribution of medical gases. Its accredited workshop offers test and repair facilities for cylinders according to European standards.

In addition, under its MGTech brand, the company imports and distributes complementary gas-management equipment, specialised welding machines and consumables, professional hand tools and DIY hardware.
