The Phoenicia Malta has announced the promotion of Mark Mizzi to Executive Chef, recognising his contribution to the hotel’s culinary operations since joining in 2021.

Mr Mizzi has served as Executive Sous Chef at the five-star hotel for more than four years.

Before joining The Phoenicia Malta, he worked as Executive Chef at the Mizzi Organisation for over a year, and prior to that, he served as Senior Sous Chef at The Westin Dragonara Resort for more than three years.

In his new role, Mr Mizzi will lead The Phoenicia Malta’s culinary team, and the hotel said it looks forward to seeing him “continue to elevate our culinary offerings, delivering the finest food and quality across our restaurants.”
