A start-up established in August 2018, Invent 3D Ltd specialises in additive manufacturing applications. Its main goal is to bring additive manufacturing directly to the customer offering negligible lead times, zero tooling costs and infinite customisation. It insists that traditional manufacturing processes, like injection moulding, do not offer such options.

As the world shifts from mass manufacturing to mass customisation, Invent 3D, which boasts 100 plus printers, three technologies (SLA, FDM, SLS) and a team embracing designers, engineers and specialists, is pushing what is considered possible with additive manufacturing.

Although, having been around since the 1980s, 3D printing is a fairly new technology when compared to traditional manufacturing that, recent advances in materials, techniques and electronics gave it new life, making it the future of manufacturing. The company firmly believes that, given its processes and techniques, it can push the technology to new heights.

Invent 3D Ltd considers 3D printing to be the next industrial revolution.

Although still very young, it has already delivered a vast range of projects, including interior design, fashion, architectural models, part manufacturing, tooling manufacturing, prototyping, medical device production and design, prosthetic design, digital dentistry and trophy manufacturing.

It has also participated in EU-funded research projects and beta-tested new materials and machinery.
