The Malta Digital Innovation Authority (MDIA) has appointed Clinton Pace as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO). Mr Pace brings over a decade of experience spanning the public and private sectors, with a proven track record in operations, accounting and finance, and regulatory compliance.
Mr Pace joined the MDIA in 2019, initially as Finance Manager. Over the past five and a half years, he has played a pivotal role in the organisation’s growth, most recently serving as Head of Finance and Corporate.
In this role, he oversaw key functions including Finance, Procurement, Human Resources and Administration, contributing significantly to MDIA’s operational maturity and strategic development.
A Certified Public Accountant, Mr Pace is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of The Malta Institute of Accountants. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Malta.
His appointment as COO marks a natural progression in his leadership journey within the Authority. Mr Pace’s deep institutional knowledge, combined with his financial acumen and operational expertise, position him well to support MDIA’s mission of fostering digital innovation while ensuring robust governance and accountability.
The MDIA looks forward to continuing its work under Clinton’s operational leadership, as it strengthens its role as a key enabler of Malta’s digital innovation ecosystem.
