Experienced hospitality professional Brian Calleja on Friday shared that he has joined London-based hotel The Chelsea Harbour Hotel & Spa as Food and Beverage Manager.

This represents his latest hospitality industry venture outside of Malta, after he served as Venue Manager at Rockwell Cocktail Bar and Restaurant at The Trafalgar St. James, also in London. Mr Calleja also previously worked at London luxury hotel company The Doyle Collection for three-and-a-half years, first as Bar Manager at Bloomsbury Club, and then at Coral Room. His experience at the capital also includes three years as Restaurant General Manager at Prescott & Conran, three years as Bar & Lounge Manager at Threadneedles Hotel, and over two years each at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon London and Conrad Hotels & Resorts.

Mr Calleja also worked as Bartender at Malta-based hotel Radisson Blu for four years. Additionally, his extensive industry experience includes six months as Bartender at Scotland’s The Gleneagles Hotel, and three years at Sliema’s The Preluna Hotel, during which time he worked in various roles.

He describes himself as a “confident, highly resourceful and reliable, qualified manager”, who enjoys taking on challenges and being able to work to an “excellent standard and presenting a positive image to clients and colleagues”.

Mr Calleja holds a High School Diploma in Food and Beverage from Institute of Tourism Studies Malta and is also a qualified Bartender from the International Barman Academy.

The Chelsea Harbour Hotel & Spa is a five-star riverside hotel in London that is rated as “one of the top 100 hotels” in the city, possessing a view of the Thames River overlooking Chelsea Harbour Marina. The hotel houses 158 luxury suites and penthouses, along with spa and health club facilities, as well as two restaurants.
