Bank of Valletta plc (BOV) has unveiled its appointment of Greek resident Theodoros Papadopoulos as its new Chief Digital Officer, with effect from 13th September 2021, subject to regulatory approval.

Mr Papadopoulos enters the role after a stint at Eurobank EFG since 2016, most recently serving as Director of User Experience.

Prior to this, he was engaged at Booking.com in the Netherlands between 2011 and 2016, initially as a Global Hotels Projects Team Member, before being appointed as Manager of Strategic Partnerships in 2013.

He has a strong educational background, holding an MSc in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia, an MA in International Business (Public Policy) and a BA in Public Relations and Communication Policy.
