BNF Bank reported an improved financial performance during the first six months of 2026, with profit before tax reaching €3 million, which represents an increase of €0.4 million compared with the same period last year.
According to the bank’s published financial statements, loans and advances to customers remained its principal income-generating asset, standing at just over €1 billion.
Net operating income increased to €19.1 million, reflecting stronger earnings momentum. Meanwhile, customer deposits remained stable at almost €1.2 billion, providing the bank with a diversified and reliable funding base.
Total assets amounted to €1.36 billion as at 30th June 2026, while profit after tax amounted to €2.2 million.
BNF Bank said it continued to maintain a disciplined approach to lending throughout the period, with a focus on quality loan origination and appropriate risk-adjusted returns rather than pursuing growth for its own sake.
The bank said the first half of 2026 reflected profitability, improved efficiency indicators, and continued strength in its capital and liquidity position.
