As part of a journey of transformation that sees BMIT expanding its role from a data centre and cloud provider to a cybersecurity solutions and managed services provider, it has now launched a podcast to extend the conversation around digital security to topics that are of interest to businesses and those working with and in technology.
Hybrid Horizons will feature subject matter experts from BMIT as well as local and international experts who can provide unique insights on diverse topics in their field.
From understanding the basics to navigating the latest threats, BMIT will be talking to experts from global vendors like Microsoft and Veeam, with discussions revolving around actionable steps, proactive defence, and how to adapt to the evolving threat landscape.
“In the realm of cybersecurity, being a managed service provider (MSP) means more than just solutions and services; it's about providing guidance, fostering understanding of an ever-evolving digital landscape and helping businesses to base their buying decisions on solid advice – and knowledge,” said BMIT.
Taking off from the premise that cybersecurity is more than a set of tools, but calls for ongoing dialogue, Hybrid Horizons extends the conversation beyond conventional security measures.
The new podcast will bring listeners practical insights, unraveling complexities, and discussing topics that are usually only discussed at conferences or dedicated events.
The first three episodes so far delve into the essentials of cybersecurity awareness, give a practical breakdown of Microsoft’s latest security report, and discuss the impact of quantum computing on cybersecurity.
Hybrid Horizons can be found on Spotify or Apple Podcasts, with episodes running up to 30 minutes.
