Malcolm Booker has been named an independent Non-Executive Director on Atlas Insurance PCC Ltd’s Board of Directors on Friday, following the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA)’s approval.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, as well as of the Malta Institute of Taxation and the Malta Institute of Accountants.

His wide range of experience also includes 30 years working at Deloitte Malta, six of which as CEO.

“Mr Booker’s leadership experience as well as his international exposure in varied sectors over the past years will add a new dimension to our board composition and dynamics,” Atlas Insurance Chairperson Lawrence Zammit said while welcoming him on board.

Mr Zammit added that his experience will also allow him to “take an active role in the strategic development and change of our company”.

Atlas Insurance PCC is one of Malta’s leading insurers, with operations across both Malta and Gozo through its “extensive branch and intermediary network”.
