The APS Sliema branch will reopen for business today after temporarily closing its doors last Friday when a member of staff tested positive for COVID-19, the bank said.
In a statement, the bank said that the staff member is in good condition and all colleagues at the branch were tested on Saturday and have all been confirmed negative. The branch was disinfected on Saturday and is open again for business today during normal hours.
The bank reminded customers to avoid visiting branches if they’re feeling unwell and to comply with its safety measures, while encouraging them to use the bank’s digital and self-service machines, i.e. myAPS Mobile Banking and Internet Banking, ATMs and deposit machines, and their APS Debit card for operations that do not need interaction with staff members.
