APS Bank has relocated its Qormi Branch from St Bartholomew Street to a short distance away on St Sebastian Street.

The new location is said to be much larger, arranged over four levels including a basement.

It is a teller-less branch and offers five meeting rooms, an interactive desk and is also equipped with a 24X7 ATM and a Deposit Machine.

There are also facilities for staff welfare, storage and archiving areas and room for expansion.

This is the latest in APS Bank's Branch Transformation Programme and follows the extensive refurbishment and modernisation already carried out at Valletta, Sliema, Mosta, Birkirkara and Victoria, Gozo.

“As a community bank APS continues to believe in the role of the physicial branch while making its channels of communication and delivery more contemporary in line with the changing habits of its customers,” the bank said in a statement.

Anthony Buttigieg, Chief Banking Officer said: "We are pleased to have completed this project on schedule, despite difficulties created by the current situation. The premises offer much bigger and better facilities for our customers in a location of significant importance for APS Bank."

In view of the restrictions created by the COVID-19 pandemic the branch will temporarily remain closed for business.
