The Alu Care Building in the Mosta industrial estate is set to go under the hammer after an application by APS Bank, assumedly for unpaid debts.

The block consists of a factory on three levels, one of which is a basement, and is also used as a garage for vehicles and for storage space.

The third flood penthouse is excluded from the auction.

The building, on Kappar Street, is currently owned by Alu Care Ltd, whose sole shareholder is Stephan Fenech. His registered address is the aforementioned penthouse.

Valued at €1.53 million, Alu Care Building is accessed through three doors on street level.

The auction will take place at room number 78 in level -1 of the Courts of Justice in Valletta on Thursday 28th September.

Alu Care Ltd is a home improvements company, although its last recorded activity on social media was in 2020.

A new company titled New Alu Care Ltd, registered at the building up for auction, was incorporated in April 2023.

The sole shareholder of New Alu Care Ltd is an Italian national, Francesco Camarda, a resident of Pietà.

The company’s Facebook page, albeit seemingly inactive, includes a link to Mr Camarda’s company, Camarda Design, active in the Sicilian province of Messina.
