Simon Camilleri was appointed General Manager of Bee Insurance Management Ltd, a subsidiary of Mapfre Middlesea Insurance plc, in July 2014, having joined Mapfre Middlesea Insurance plc in 1982.

Bee Insurance Management Ltd provides insurance management services to insurance entities registered in Malta.

“At Bee, I manage and oversee the preparation of applications for clients seeking authorisation from the Malta Financial Services Authority to set up an insurance entity in Malta.

"Once the client receives the authorisation from the MFSA, it is then my responsibility, through Bee, to manage the provision of the diverse management services to the newly formed insurance entity,” Mr Camilleri explains.

He is also the General Manager of EuroMed Risks Solutions Ltd, a subsidiary of Bee Insurance Management Services.
