Throughout his more than five decades working in the currency printing industry, John Scott managed factories in Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe, including six greenfield site facilities.

“I was instrumental in the founding of Crane Currency Malta, which officially opened its state-of-the-art security printing plant in Ħal Far in early 2018,” he says.

Mr Scott points out that the degree he has in art and industrial design is very closely linked to the industry he has spent his life working in.
