“Alongside my co-founders, I lead the world's largest and fastest-growing EdTech accelerator. Our goal is ambitious: to accelerate over 1,000 companies by 2025,” Janos Barberis asserts.

Situated in Malta, the operational centre of excellence serves a dual purpose: facilitating the global operation of the accelerator and spearheading efforts to establish Malta as a leading EdTech ecosystem by attracting 150 EdTech startups in the coming years.

With a background that includes developing startup ecosystems in Asia, Dr Barberis brings together academic rigour (holding the world's first PhD in FinTech Regulation) with entrepreneurial spirit (pioneering early startup ecosystem development) to create value for entrepreneurs, policymakers, corporations and investors.

“With a deep passion for education,” he explains, “I've impacted over 100,000 individuals through my courses, books and research papers. I'm also a sought-after international keynote speaker, addressing topics such as startup ecosystem development and the crucial issue of founders' mental health.”

He eagerly welcomes individuals who share his mission to the Malta office and invites collaboration and support as SuperCharger Ventures continue to drive innovation in the EdTech space.
