James Debono has worked in the high-end restaurant and catering industry since 2013, with his most recent role being Restaurant Manger at Le Cinq Rooftop Restaurant in Valletta.

Over the years, Mr Debono’s career has seen him work as a Restaurant Manager at the Westin Dragonara, while overseas, he has worked at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland, and also served as Chef de Rang at the Celest Gastronomic Restaurant at the Radission in Lyon, France.

Mr Debono has also followed an intermediate wine course and received training in leadership roles and public speaking.

In his role at Le Cinq Rooftop Restaurant, Mr Debono seeks to bring one of the longest established restaurants up to the latest trends, while respecting the traditions of the place.
