“Shipbuilding has been in my DNA since my father set up a modest yard in Naples in 1967,” Antonio Palumbo says. It remains his passion and, today, Palumbo Shipyards, which has eight shipyards in the heart of the Mediterranean, and Palumbo Superyachts are leaders in the shipping industry and construction/refitting of luxury yachts.

“We are driven by passion, sacrifice and respect and what distinguishes us from the rest is our reputation to maintain long-term relationships built on trust and quality,” he asserts.

The Group had very humble beginnings, when Salvatore Palumbo set up a fairly small carpentry and metal work yard to support the local ship-repair industry. 

Now, with more than half a century of experience in the shipbuilding industry, custom yacht construction and unique repair capabilities, Palumbo has become a major refit and repair network in the Mediterranean.
